Turkey is a very attractive rally for spectators, but it can be a hell for the crews. The former can enjoy spectacular views of racing cars rushing in clouds of dust along the sea, the latter suffer from sharp rocks, high temperatures and the ubiquitous threat of a defect or even more serious damage. Not for nothing is Turkey called the toughest event of the season.
The robust and reliable ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 and Rally2 evo cars have gained a great reputation over the years in extreme Turkish conditions, which has been confirmed this year as well. The first two places in the Rally2 group were won by ŠKODA Motorsport customers – Kajetan Kajetanowicz won the WRC3 category and Pontus Tidemand won the WRC2 category.
