The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) 2016 reaches its conclusion this weekend (November 17-20) with the Rally Australia taking place in and around Coffs Harbour. This event, which consists of 23 special stages and 315 kilometres of competitive distance mostly on gravel roads, is a conclusion to what has been a dramatic and enthralling title race in the WRC2 category.
The ŠKODA Motorsport pairing of Esapekka Lappi / Janne Ferm can climb above fellow FABIA R5 drivers Teemu Suninen / Mikko Markkula (who are not competing here) if they finish first or second in the WRC2 standings this weekend.
Meanwhile, Nicolás Fuchs / Fernando Mussano continue their quest to become the highest placed South American finishers in WRC2 history and Khalid Mohammad Al-Suwaidi / Marshall Clarke are making their maiden drive in a FABIA R5 for the Culture & Sport Qatar Rally Team.
