The Motorsport Italia’s FABIA R5 of Mexican driver Benito Guerra Jr. and his Spanish co-driver Daniel Cué is making its first start in a European round of the WRC after two strong performances in the Rally Guanajuato Mexico and the Rally Argentina.
They are joined by Team Orlen’s Polish pairing of Hubert Ptaszek / Maciej Szczepaniak. They are driving a FABIA R5 prepared and run by the Tagai Racing Technology. Hungarian team runs also the car of the Frenchman Quentin Gilbert and his Belgian co-driver Renaud Jamoul. They are making their first start in a FABIA R5 in the WRC2 championship, but did finish fifth at this year’s Rallye Monte Carlo in another car.
Miguel Campos and his co-driver António Costa form the only Portuguese crew competing in the WRC2 standings here, but they are joined by three FABIA R5s looking for points in the Portuguese Rally Championship, driven by Pedro Meireles / Mário Castro, Miguel Barbosa / Miguel Ramalho and Diogo Salvi / Carlos Magalhães.
