Round 7 of the World Rally Championship (WRC) is an opportunity for ŠKODA customer teams to once again make an impression on the biggest rallying stage of them all. This time, they are in Mikołajki, a small town in northern Poland for the Rally Poland, a 22 stage, 306km long, gravel event. And there is no shortage of teams ready to put their ŠKODA Fabia R5 cars through their paces.
We are keeping a close eye on the performances of Nicolás Fuchs / Fernando Mussano, as well as the Team Oreca pairing of Teemu Suninen / Mikko Markkula, both of whom have claimed WRC2 victories already this season.
We are also hoping The Ptock team’s Hubert Ptaszek / Maciej Szczepaniak enjoy success at their home rally, especially after Szczepaniak recent recovery from a back injury.
Other names to keep an eye on include Armin Kremer / Pirmin Winklhofer for the BRR Baumschlager Rallye & Racing team, Australians Scott Pedder / Dale Moscatt, and French gravel specialists Julien Maurin / Olivier Ural.
