This year’s Wales Rally GB is the penultimate round of the FIA World Rally Championship and there is still much for the ŠKODA Customer Teams to fight for as the season draws to a conclusion.
Team Oreca’s Teemu Suninen / Mikko Markkula currently sit second in the WRC2 championship standings and they are pushing hard in their final nominated event of the season to try and reach the top of the table. Peruvian Nicolás Fuchs and his Argentinian co-driver Fernando Mussano return into the WRC2 championship in Wales. They have already won once this season at the Rally Argentina and are pushing and trying to secure a top 3 result in the WRC2 final classification.
Ole Christian Veiby and his co-driver Stig Rune Skjærmoen are driving in just their third WRC2 event in a FABIA R5 for the Printsport Oy team, while the British pairing of David Bogie / Kevin Rae are also competing with the car prepared and run by the Wevers Sport team.
