Rallye Český Krumlov, second round of Czech Rally Championship, took place in the South Bohemia. This two-day (27th – 28th May) tarmac event was part of ŠKODA Motorsport’s home series and once again there was two ŠKODA works teams entered.
It was the Czech team of Jan Kopecký/Pavel Dresler who led the way in their ŠKODA Fabia R5 again here, leading the event from start to finish and winning eight of the twelve stages to claim victory by almost forty seconds from their team-mates. Fellow ŠKODA Motorsport pairing Pontus Tidemand/Jonas Andersson secured runners-up spot winning four stages of their own.
Behind the official ŠKODA Motorsport cars, the standout performance came from Vojtěch Štajf/František Rajnoha driving a ŠKODA Fabia R5 for the Klokočka ŠKODA Czech National Team. They ended up in fifth place. Karel Trojan/Petr Chlup, driving for the Korno Motorsport team, brought their Fabia R5 home in twelfth place.
