They are joined by the Polish pairing of Grzegorz Grzyb / Przemyslaw Zawada (Rufa Sport), Czech crew Antonín Tlusťák / Ivo Vybíral (Botka - Tlusťák Racing), German driver Albert von Thurn und Taxis and his Belgian co-driver Bjorn Degandt, and the Italian pairing of Max Rendina / Emanuele Inglesi (Motorsport Italia).
There are plenty more competing in both the ERC and Junior U28 competitions too. Germans Marijan Griebel / Stefan Kopczyk were the highest placed U28 drivers last time out, after finishing second overall in the Azores, and are competing again here.
The Sports Racing Technologies pairing of Nikolay Gryazin / Yaroslav Fedorov is also participating, as well as the ACCR Czech Team duo of Jan Černý / Petr Černohorský Jr. French driver Sylvain Michel and his compatriot and co-driver Jérôme Degout make their first ERC and ERC Junior U28 start of the season.
And the Rally Islas Canarias is also part of the Spanish Rally Championship, which is why the Spanish pairings of Pedro Burgo / Marcos Burgo and Yeray Lemes / Daniel Sosa are also taking part.
