ŠKODA Motorsport has a pretty good track record in the Tour de Corse and we are looking to extend that at this weekend’s event, which is the 11th round of the FIA World Rally Championship 2016.
Taking place over 391km of competitive distance, but just 10 long stages, the Tour de Corse is an event which tests the stamina of both the drivers and their vehicles.
The sole representative of ŠKODA Motorsport team at this event is Czech crew Jan Kopecký / Pavel Dresler. Kopecký finished runner-up here three times during Corsica’s spell as an Intercontinental Rally Challenge and a FIA European Rally Championship event and after a second place finish in the last round of the WRC at the Rallye Deutschland too, he is hoping to go one better this weekend.
