ADAC Rallye Deutschland is the ninth round of the World Rally Championship (WRC). With 3 legs, 18 stages and a total competitive distance of some 306 km, this asphalt rally puts both vehicles and drivers through their paces.
And the ŠKODA Motorsport team is relishing the challenge. The Finnish pairing of Esapekka Lappi / Janne Ferm are taking part in their ŠKODA FABIA R5, fresh from winning the WRC2 category in the last WRC round in Finland. The Czech duo of Jan Kopecký / Pavel Dresler is also competing in and around Trier. And for the first time this season, all three ŠKODA Motorsport’s driving teams are participating, as Swedes Pontus Tidemand / Jonas Andersson drive under the official moniker of the ŠKODA Motorsport II team.
