The India Rally is the sixth and final round of the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) 2016. It is a gravel event which consists of 17 special stages and around 226km of competitive distance. It promises to be a rally to remember for Indian ŠKODA FABIA R5 driver Gaurav Gill.
Gill has already claimed the APRC Championship title, having won all five of the season’s events to date. Alongside regular co-driver Glenn Macneall, he tries to complete a clean sweep of all six APRC rallies in front of his home crowd.
With the new German Rally Champions Fabian Kreim / Frank Christian, who currently sit second in the championship standings, also taking part, the India Rally looks set to be a fitting end to an exciting 2016 APRC Championship.
