This weekend sees the return of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (ARPC) to Australian soil for its second round of 2016 season with the International Rally of Queensland. This gravel rally takes place over 16 stages and 240 km of competitive distance around the town of Diddillibah.
It is an event that has been won in APRC classification by a ŠKODA for each of the last four years, and both of the ŠKODA MRF teams competing in the APRC this year – Indian driver Gaurav Gill and his Australian co-driver Glenn Macneall, as well as the German pairing of Fabian Kreim/Frank Christian – came into the event in good form after our one-two finish at the opening event of the year, the International Rally of Whangarei in New Zealand.
