Mladá Boleslav, 7 October 2024 – Later this week, Škoda Motorsport will unveil the Škoda Enyaq RS Race, an electric concept based on the series model Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS. The rally-inspired concept car features an all-electric drivetrain and shows, how new technologies and the use of innovative sustainable materials can contribute to making competition cars and series production models more sustainable.
The Škoda Enyaq RS Race showcases Škoda’s activities in the field of electrified motorsport towards a more sustainable future. It previews future innovations such as light yet rigid biocomposite parts that might later be applied in series production: Roof, fenders, rear wing, front and rear bumpers, mirrors, sills and interior components of the concept car are made from flax fibre.
The concept car features a 250 kW (340 PS) all-electric drivetrain. Inspired by the competition model Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, it is equipped with a reinforced bodyshell, a roll cage, racing seats and six-point harnesses.
Further materials, including a comprehensive press kit will soon be available in the Media Room section of the Škoda Storyboard.
