If you would like to own a Golden FABIA R5 that you know from our last year’s victory celebrations and from GP Ice Race at Zell am See, we have some news for you! The bad news is that you still probably can’t get the real one, unless you have some 190,000 EUR, a racing licence and a rally team (if you do, though, contact our customer team department!).
However, we have some good news as well. You absolutely can own a racing FABIA R5, and all you need to do is to take the best picture of the real one, or of some other modern-era ŠKODA Motorsport cars. It’s just going to be a bit smaller. Five times smaller, to be exact.
Today, we are launching our new Golden Photo Contest, where you can win one of three Golden FABIA R5 RC Models. At 1:5 scale, they are quite big, and we can assure you that while they are not as powerful as Kalle’s real car, they are still much faster than you’ll ever need. And you’ll have plenty of fun, shall you win one of them.
So, what you have to do in order to win? It is quite easy. Just take one or more pictures of our real, modern-era cars (FABIA R5, FABIA S2000, FABIA WRC, OCTAVIA WRC) and send them to us through Facebook Messenger. Each contestant can enter up to three pictures, in resolution of at least 2,100 x 1,400 pixels. The contest runs from today’s 00:01 A.M. to the end of next Sunday (10th February 2019, 11:59 A.M.).

After we have all the photos in our inbox, our team of experts will go through them and select three winners based on overall artistic impression of the pictures. The winners will be notified through Messenger and they will receive their Golden FABIA R5 models via mail.
